We are a Brotherhood of veterans on a mission. Regardless of race, sex, politics, or anything else that separates others in this world, WAT22 volunteers are united in our brotherhood. We stand with each other. We hold each other accountable. And we push each other to be the best we can be.
We are honest and consistently uncompromising of our moral and ethical principles and values.
Many of us have been where the veterans we serve are and we know that there is a path alongside other veterans that leads to a better situation. We are willing to place the well being of a veteran in suicidal crisis above our own because of our brotherhood. We are not judgemental but rather show compassion to fellow veterans in crisis.
Just as our service to our nation, our volunteer service with WAT22 is done in a professional manner. From the way we carry and present ourselves in public to our mission focus while intervening in a crisis situation, professionalism is our creed.
Because of the fluid nature of many of our response situations, good judgement and wisdom are essential. We demonstrate good judgement and appropriate decision making in sometimes dangerous situations.
If this is an emergency and you or someone you know is in immediate danger of harming themselves or others please call 911 first.
